Raw - Una cruda verità (2016) consolidates her style: a coming-of-age film about a veterinary student who discovers a cannibalistic appetite at university, transforming the horror genre into psychological and sexual analysis. In 2021, Titane wins the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, consecrating Ducournau among the most important voices of contemporary European cinema.
